Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, apps, and services provided by Asaan Education (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of Terms
- You must be able to form a binding contract, or have parental/guardian consent where applicable.
- By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms.
- We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
Accounts & Eligibility
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Parents/guardians may manage accounts for minors where permitted.
- We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Tutor & Student Responsibilities
Tutors
Professional & reliable
Show accurate credentials, arrive on time, maintain respectful conduct, and provide clear lesson plans/materials where applicable.
Students/Parents
Prepared & respectful
Provide correct availability, attend on time, respect tutors and other users, and follow platform rules.
Bookings & Cancellations

Conduct & Safety
- You retain rights in content you create; you grant us a limited license to host and display it to run the service.
- Do not upload copyrighted materials without permission.
- Our trademarks, brand, and platform code are owned by Asaan Education.
Prohibited Activities
- Harassment, hate speech, or threats
- Sharing illegal or harmful content
- Off-platform payment solicitation
- Impersonation or misrepresentation
- Attempting to bypass fees or security
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or spamming
Disclaimers & Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Asaan Education and its affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those places, the minimum required protections apply.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for risk, legal, or security reasons. Some provisions survive termination (e.g., IP, payments due, dispute terms).
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in-product or by email. Continued use means you accept the new Terms.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country/region of residence unless local law requires otherwise. Disputes will be handled by competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides a different forum or alternative dispute resolution is required.
